    "I'm falling down
    Tumbling after You
    I'm overwhelmed
    Tripping over simple truth
    In all I've found
    There's nothing that's more beautiful
Than what I've found in You"

So that's pretty much how I feel after the men's conference...  It truly was an amazing time, a big thanks to all of you who were praying for our time there!

Yikes!  Only two posts and I've already almost killed this thing...  Don't really have anything else to say...  I'm at school and I'm bored.

Oh yes!  I'm reading this book called The Great American Gun Debate partially because I'm interested in the subject and partially because I'm writing a paper on gun rights vs. gun violence for my Intro to Criminal Justice class.  It basically shows through studies done by very smart criminologists and sociologists that the more guns there are in America in the hands of law abiding citizens and the less restrictions there are, the less gun violence and crime there is.  Purty fascinating...  For me at least...

And of course I can't fail to mention (though everybody probably knows by now...).  The Rockies are going to the WORLD SERIES!!!

    I've Been Drafted!

Okay...  So...  Not really...  But they want me, I got a letter from Selective Services yesterday.  Not much to report other than that (if that was even worth reporting...) since Sunday.

The rest...  In bulletless bullet points...

Someday our weight training instructor is going to kill someone.  We had our weekly class last night and we did a group workout and did not one, but two circuits, back to back.  Then she would come around and at random tell you to add more plates on the machine.  Then we would do sustained lifts...  Needless to say, my body felt like a big blob of spaghetti afterwards...  Our instructor is quite a sweet lady though...

More music to recommend!  Mainstay's new stuff: purevolume.com/mainstayrock Falling Up's new stuff: purevolume.com/fallingup and...  A new band I just found out about...  The Wrecking: myspace.com/thewrecking

And though this is not music...  I must post a link tooooo... www.brandonedmunds.blogspot.com  My brotha from anotha motha has posted some most excellent poetry.  And that says a lot coming from me, not that I am a poetry connoisseur, I just don't usually don't enjoy reading poetry.  But this, this I like.

P.S. Mr. Beta is still there.  He may stay there.  He may become my trademark blog beta.  Maybe I should write a Big Blog Beta tongue twister...

EDIT:  Sorry the URLs aren't links, you'll have to paste them into your browsers.

    Hello People!

Yes it's me.  I'm back.  For those of you who go to Sovereign Grace Church of Aurora (formerly Community Life Church of South Denver), you may have already guessed who I am from the user name.  For those of you who came here wondering what strange person sent you a friend request...  I am David and I go to the Sovereign Grace church in Aurora, Colorado and subscribed and added everyone from the CLC blog ring as a friend...  At least those that I could.

    In other news...

The Sovereign Grace Saints lost again today.  But it was only by 15 this time (I think...).

And yes...  The Heat, the new CD from Needtobreathe, is great.  If you don't mind or enjoy your rock with a slight country/southern twist then give these guys a listen.  "We Could Run Away" off of The Heat is one of the catchiest songs I have heard in a while...

P.S. The beta at the top of my blog will be gone.  Soon.
